Quran is a public website. It has no account system, advertising trackers, remote analytics, or cloud bookmark sync.
Browser storage
Preferences, bookmarks and your latest reading position are saved in this browser's local storage. They are not sent to a server account. You can remove a bookmark using its button or clear site storage in your browser. If storage is unavailable, reading still works but your changes may not persist.
External connections
This website serves Quran text, translations and search. Website requests include connection information such as your IP address. Audio connects to MP3Quran, which also receives connection information. External source websites have their own privacy policies.
Optional API access
Quran Foundation is disabled until server credentials are provided. Credentials belong only in the server environment, never in public browser configuration. There is no Quran Foundation user login or access to your personal Quran.com account.
